Feeding the City of Miami Thanksgiving Food Drive

It has been a trying year for most, and those experiencing homelessness have been hit the hardest due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. The pandemic has brought on unprecedented job loss and unemployment, unaffordable housing, and has contributed to hunger and homelessness across the city of Miami. Claro Insurance had the opportunity to partner with local vendors to spread joy and positivity during a time when many struggle with uncertainty and hardship.

On Saturday, November 21st, the Claro Insurance team had the honor of joining Wolf Clan Media at the first annual Wolf Clan & Friends: Feeding the City of Miami Thanksgiving Food Drive for the homeless. Local professional athletes and influencers joined forces for this generous cause traveling the city on the Wolf Clan party bus supplying over 500 meals to the less fortunate, collecting over 200 canned foods, and donating over 150 masks to the Miami Rescue Mission where we ended the day. It was a great honor to give back to our community and participate in such a selfless event helping those that are in need. At Claro, we are committed to serving and being involved in the local community as best we can. It was a pleasure working with the Wolf Clan team as well as other wonderful sponsors such as Compuquip, Alpha & Omega Church, 305 Youth Sports, Hamperapp, and more. We are incredibly grateful and humbled by this opportunity and are looking forward to supporting this cause again next year!
